Kathryn Keegan

Kathryn E. Keegan is an associate attorney at Grant, Genovese & Baratta, joining the insurance litigation department in 2024. Kathryn earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business where she engaged in experimental learning and projects working with local Chicago businesses. Upon graduation, Kathryn attended Western State College of Law. During law school, she worked as a Dean’s Fellow for the Academic Success Program where she provided individual guidance and assistance to 1L students. Kathryn was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Contracts I, a selected recipient for the Summer Honor’s Program, a member of the Dean’s Circle, and an active member of the Business Law Association and Women’s Law Association. She graduated magna cum laude in 2024.  

Prior to joining Grant, Genovese & Baratta, Kathryn gained litigation and research experience working as a law clerk in business litigation with a focus on construction law and contract dispute. Now focusing on insurance defense litigation, she uses her diverse experience to zealously advocate her clients’ best interests.
