Jeffrey P. Magwood

Jeff Magwood is a partner with GG&B’s insurance defense practice group. In 2002, Jeff moved from Los Angeles to Orange County and joined GGB after working as an associate for a preeminent national law firm.

Jeff has firmly adopted GG&B’s “think outside the box” philosophy and utilizes a creative, pragmatic, and cost-effective approach in resolving legal disputes. He has litigated an extensive variety of matters—including cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, products liability, defamation, fraud, breach of contract, and other complex litigation—through every stage, from pre-litigation to discovery to trial and appeal.

He has served as lead trial counsel or second-chaired numerous trials and arbitrations throughout California.

Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys swimming, baseball, and spending time with his wife and three children.
