

Amanda C. Lewis is a senior associate at Grant, Genovese & Baratta. Her practice encompasses a broad range of litigation, including public entity defense. She has successfully and professionally handled personal injury cases involving wrongful death claims and sensitive topics, including childhood sexual abuse matters, in every stage of litigation, including trials and appeals. She has also successfully negotiated over $100 million in settlements and obtained dismissals of cases through demurrers and dispositive motions.
Since joining the firm in 2019, Amanda has honed her litigation skills through countless court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. She has also completed appellate work under a certified appellate specialist, refining her skills in legal strategy and analysis. This invaluable experience is unmatched and has enabled her to vigorously defend clients against high-exposure liability claims, always with an eye towards achieving maximum results for clients. Amanda graduated with a B.A. in Business Law from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business in 2015 before receiving her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU in May 2018. She was admitted to the California Bar in December 2018. She is admitted to practice in California State Courts; the United States District Court for Central District of California, Southern District of California, and Northern District of California; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Amanda represented the Los Angeles Unified School District in a 2025 jury trial on an A.B. 218 sexual assault of a minor case that resulted in a partial nonsuit and hung jury.
