Mervyn Encarnacion has a wide range of litigation experience representing employers, insurance companies, small business owners and corporations. Prior to joining Grant, Genovese & Baratta, Mervyn was general counsel for a construction company where he managed the day to day legal affairs and litigated extensive matters in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, employment, breach of contract and complex litigation. Mervyn was involved from inception through trial. 

A Southern California native, Mervyn’s roots run deep throughout the community, both professionally and personally.  Mervyn has built extensive friendships and through these relationships, Mervyn has been able to assist many of his clients in getting the services they need.  Mervyn’s calling in life is to serve his clients, help them set a new and positive direction in their lives, seeking the best results, while delivering unparalleled and exceptional service.  He has volunteered for various organizations and served on non-profit boards that benefit children in underprivileged communities.

Outside of the office, Mervyn enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, coaching youth basketball, and travelling.
