Elle M. Reed primarily focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.  Prior to joining Grant Genovese & Baratta, Ms. Reed practiced business and intellectual property litigation, as well as insurance defense.

Ms. Reed has been responsible for an array of successful pretrial and dispositive motions before a variety of tribunals, such as the Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California; the California Court of Appeal for the Second Appellate District; the Southern District of New York; the Office of the Labor Commissioner; and countless California Superior Courts.  Ms. Reed has represented Plaintiffs and Defendants in state and federal cases, mediations, judicial reference proceedings, and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings.

Having also negotiated settlements involving international and Fortune 500 companies, her ability to balance hard-hitting legal arguments with a persuasive human touch makes Ms. Reed equally as effective for her clients in the courtroom as well as the boardroom.
