In a significant legal victory, GGB successfully represented State Farm in the case of State Farm Fire and Casualty v. The Doctors Company (SC 058721). The Doctors Company claimed State Farm was liable to reimburse it $1.2 million incurred in the defense of their mutual insured. However, our Insurance team diligently prepared for the case, presenting a strong defense on behalf of State Farm.
Demonstrating that State Farm was not liable for the claimed amount, our arguments and thorough presentation resonated with the Santa Monica court.
Ultimately, the court found in favor of our client, State Farm, and not only dismissed the $1.2 million claim but also ordered The Doctors Company to reimburse State Farm $225,000 for the expenses it had incurred. This outcome highlighted GGB’s expertise in handling complex insurance litigation and achieving favorable results for our clients.
