Defended OC Developer in Texas Court

Victory for OC Developer

Defending an Orange County developer, we secured favorable verdicts in Lubbock and Texarkana for faulty seed claims and financial fraud allegations.

In a series of significant legal victories, GGB successfully defended a prominent Orange County developer in two separate matters in the Texas District Court (Lubbock and Texarkana). These cases highlight our ability to effectively manage and defend complex legal disputes across state lines.

In the first case, held in Lubbock, our client owned a hemp plantation in Haiti and faced a lawsuit for declining to pay $650,000 for faulty seeds. Over the course of a five-day jury trial, our Litigation team crafted a strong defense, presenting compelling evidence to demonstrate the seeds’ defects. The jury returned a favorable verdict for our client, absolving them of any payment obligation for the faulty seeds.

The second case, held in Texarkana, involved claims of financial fraud against the same developer. Our team conducted thorough investigations and crafted a strategic defense to counter the allegations. The court’s judgment was in favor of our client, dismissing the financial fraud claims and upholding the developer’s integrity and business practices.
