Erika K. Calvagna

Erika Calvagna is an associate attorney at Grant, Genovese, & Baratta, LLP, joining the insurance defense team in 2026. Erika graduated magna cum laude from Loyola Marymount University, where she earned her B.B.A. in Finance with a minor in Business Law and was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll.

During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a legal research assistant within the university’s business law department, contributing to legal scholarship and publication development in the fields of business law and legal ethics. Upon graduation, Erika attended LMU Loyola Law School, where she concentrated in Corporate Law and was awarded the Loyola Scholar Merit Scholarship for all three years of law school. During law school, she completed a trial advocacy and advanced litigation writing program focused on motion practice, legal analysis, and courtroom advocacy.

Erika also served as President of the Real Estate Law Society and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Business Law Society. She undertook a professor-monitored independent thesis examining the intersection of California real estate, tenant, and animal law, and served as a Research Assistant focusing on California privacy tort law, collaborating with professors and students on legal analysis and curriculum development.
