Mr. Tartt has worked in the insurance industry since college. His first job after university was a Risk Control consultant for a large insurance company. Henri inspected and evaluated hundreds of business’ operations for insurability regarding premises liability, automobile, property, and products liability coverages. Those experiences inspired Henri to go to law school. He began his litigation career representing insurers in coverage litigation matters vis-à-vis the CGL policy. Thereafter, he went into private practice where he handled First-party insurance coverage and business litigation matters, as well as business advisory and transactional services.

While in private practice, Mr. Tartt conducted insurance seminars across the United States in front of large audiences of claims adjusters. He was approved by several states’ Department of Insurance to conduct seminars for adjusters whom earned continuing-education credits to maintain their license.

Henri has a variety of hobbies and interests. He enjoys snow skiing, reading non-fiction books, listening to classical music. Henri can be seen “e-bike cycling,” attending baseball and hockey games, and hanging out in Lake Tahoe during the Christmastide. Last and perhaps least, Henri’s “claim to fame” is that he used to do stand-up comedy at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles on open-mic night: and legend has it that he “got some good laughs” a few times….
