Jose Hernandez is an associate attorney at Grant, Genovese & Baratta, joining the firm’s personal injury and insurance litigation department in June 2021.  Prior to joining Grant, Genovese & Baratta, Jose was a fellow for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  During his time working as a fellow under the ABOTA program, Jose worked fiercely as an intern at GGB before making his return back to the firm.

While at Western State College of Law, Jose was awarded with the Marcia Blanchard Wilbur Award for outstanding leadership and academic success.  Before law school, Jose was fortunate to have played professional baseball.  He was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2009 Major League Baseball draft.  Now focusing on litigation, Jose uses his unique background and skill set to passionately advocate for his clients’ best interests.
