Stephen M. Callegari is a member of the firm’s corporate transactional department, focusing his practice on providing advice and completing business transactions for both public and private companies in the areas of financing, real estate, M&A, cannabis regulation, general and specialized business contracts, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Grant Genovese & Baratta LLP, Mr. Callegari worked at a Southern California corporate and securities law firm representing public and private companies. Mr. Callegari earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014, where he was the Articles and Comments Editor of the University of Miami International & Comparative Law Review and received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award for his work in International Business Crimes. During law school Mr. Callegari worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Homeland Security and the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Callegari earned a B.S. in Business Administration in 2011 from Sonoma State University, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team.
Mr. Callegari is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
