MICHELLE H. LE, ASSOCIATE

    MICHELLE H. LE joined Grant, Genovese & Baratta, LLP as an associate attorney in September of 2015. Ms. Le attended the University of California, Los Angeles for both her undergraduate and law school education. During law school, she was awarded the UCLA School of Law Faculty Scholarship Award and the UCLA School of Law Graduate Opportunity Fellowship. Ms. Le also worked with the federal court as an extern for the Honorable Margaret M. Morrow of the United States District Court, Central District Court of California. Outside of her studies, she demonstrated her commitment to student organizations and her culture as the President of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Students Association and as a Managing Editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal.

    Ms. Le has a diverse background of experience representing clients in civil rights and employment law matters involving police misconduct, discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, sexual harassment, and complex litigation class actions, among other issues. She has worked with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, private sector law firms, and public sector entities. Ms. Le was awarded an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellowship in which she represented homeless and low-income veterans in the areas of expungements, Proposition 47 reclassifications, citation defense, employment, public benefits, and child support modifications. She has succeeded in obtaining several favorable bench decisions at both the demurrer and trial stages for her clients.

    Upon the successful completion of her fellowship, Ms. Le joined Grant, Genovese & Baratta, LLP. She specializes in the firm’s insurance litigation department and continues to provide dedicated advocacy to her clients.
