A native of Orange County, Kristen Rodriguez attended University of California, Los Angeles, graduating in 2006 summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Rodriguez attended the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While at USC, Kristen externed at both the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California, and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Following law school, Ms. Rodriguez was one of twenty selected applicants to participate in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office Trial Advocacy Training Program, where she completed a month-long trial advocacy program.
Ms. Rodriguez has a diverse background of experience in civil litigation, and has an established reputation of results working in different capacities as both a plaintiff’s and defense attorney. In March 2017, Ms. Rodriguez obtained a jury verdict in the Central District of California for a national salon chain in a breach of contract and trademark infringement matter. Ms. Rodriguez has also argued in front of the California Court of Appeal for the First District where she successfully expanded protections afforded for California car dealerships.
Ms. Rodriguez joined Grant, Genovese & Baratta in 2017. She practices in the firm’s insurance litigation department.
